The Cypress Ridge PTO is an organization of Parents and Teachers who work hand in hand to support Cypress Ridge Elementary School through fundraising and family-friendly activities. PTO meets on the last Monday of every month at 7:00pm in the Media Center. We often get asked - What does PTO do? Fund raising through the Membership Drive, Family Movie Night, Box Tops for Education, Discount Card Sales, Boo Bags, Candy Grams, Sport Shirt Day, Amazon Smile and the Annual School Carnival all provide much needed funding for school-wide projects, programs and equipment. Within the last 6 years the PTO has fundraised money to install a playground system, the swing sets on campus, and supported many different student and teacher activities. We have also provided multiple fun days for the students.

Our Mission:

CRES PTO is an organization whose purpose is to strengthen, enhance and encourage the educational and social environment of Cypress Ridge Elementary school. Its goals are to complement the school curriculum with additional opportunities for parents, teachers and students to learn, socialize, communicate, and grow.

PTO Goals:

Provide support to ensure equitable access to learning and experiences for all of our students.

Provide support to staff as we partner with them to provide learning in new ways. With the support both financially and with volunteer support for their needs to reach each student in a creative way.
Help to create community and a sense of connectedness with all of our families and students.

Becoming a PTO member DOES NOT commit you to volunteer at events (although it’s a bonus if you can!) Becoming a PTO member means different things to different people. It can help you stay informed; it can help you stay involved; it can help you earn volunteer hours. Keep in mind that your donation alone helps fund projects and/or equipment for our amazing school and students.
